Safeway 4/14 - 4/20

Since the new grocery sales start Wednesday, I'm not going to spend too much time catching you up on what's out there this week. Instead, I'm just going to pass on one great deal that maybe you can snatch up before the end of the day tomorrow at Safeway.

There is a buy 5 save $5 promo for select cereals, poptarts and granola bars.

I managed to get 5 boxes of Nature Valley Granola Bars for $.06 each by using this scenario:

Nature Valley Bars - $1.50 (when you buy 5)

Use a combination of (5) coupons:

$.40 off HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE

Load Cellfire $1.00 off coupon HERE and Shortcuts $.40 off HERE

(*Plus, if you load your card every time they're available, you should have a few additional coupons already on there)

At minimum, if you bring 5 coupons, that's $1 off each box (all coupons are $1 at Safeway!) making them $.50 each. Depending on how many eCoupons you load, your total will continue to go down on each box.

I had (1) $1 eCoupon and (3) $.40 eCoupons, bringing my total down to $.30 TOTAL for all 5 boxes.

Also, if you don't need or want 5 boxes of granola bars, you can mix and match between select General Mills Cereals (i.e. Cheerios, Cookie Crisp, Coco Puffs...Not ALL General Mills are included unfortunately. I was hoping for Kix and HoneyNut Cheerios....)
