Dove Coupon to Print and Save
You might want to print this Dove Shampoo/Conditioner coupon (in case it goes away) for a money maker at Walgreens next week.
Whole Foods Coupon Updates
Looks like Whole Foods updated their coupons again if you are a shopper there. Including Peanut Butter, Yogurt, Kashi (there were manufacturer coupons available recently if you snagged those you can stack them) and more.
Here's a couple of deals you might want to add to your shopping list:
Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Milk - $1.99
Use $1 off HERE
Stack with $1 off from 2/28 SmartSource
Total = FREE
Muir Glen Organic Tomatoes - 2 for $4
Total = $1
ESPN Magazine - $4/1 Year
You can get a 1 year subscription to ESPN Magazine for just $4 through DiscountMag.
Use code 3614 at checkout.
This could make for a great gift if you don't want it yourself!
Grocery Update
I just got back from a morning of shopping and I made a couple of updates to my Fry's, Albertson's and Target posts for this week. Things like: at Fry's, the cheese is still part of the "Buy 8" promo so you can grab that for $.49 and $.99 and there's $1 pillow deals at Target.
Also, it looks like Fry's has replenished (my local store anyway) their stock on Ronzoni and Bumble Bee if you haven't grabbed these freebies yet. And not only that, they still have the Kraft coupons for $1 off 2 right next to the cheese! Make sure to grab those if you can find them at your store!
Below is a photo of what I rounded up for today - my total? $19.76 (which is including tax and a couple of items I didn't have a coupon for!)
My overall total would have been $81 (not to mention what it would have been if I bought at a time the items weren't even on sale!). So is clipping coupons worth it? To truly have an extra $61 in my pocket just for handing over my coupons....I would say so! And this was just one of my days shopping this week!
Because I don't think a picture says it all since things blend all together (and because a few things got cut off on the left), here is a list as well:
2 Airwick iMotions
Oral B Stages Toothbrush
Battleship
Connect 4
Bedroom Pillow
2 International Delight Creamers
6 Ronzoni Pastas
12pack Diet Dr Pepper
12pack Coke Zero
I can't Believe It's Not Butter
4 Bumble Bee
2 Sargento Cheese
2 Lunchables
Tostitos Chips
Hormel Chili
Carnation Evaporated Milk
2 Sara Lee Bread
2 Green Giant Steamers
Gallon Milk
World Market/Borders
Here's a couple of coupons if you're heading out and about this weekend:
40% off one item at Borders (expires tomorrow)
Coupon Booklet
You can go HERE to request a coupon booklet by mail through P&G and Kraft. Coupons for Nabisco, Oscar Mayer, Capri Sun, Crest, Bounty, Pampers and many more.
The site is through Albertsons (and affiliates) so we'll have to wait and see if they're store coupons or manufacturer coupons. Either way, it'll probably end in some good deals!
Mega Swagbucks Friday!
Wow, I can't believe it's already Friday again! I feel like I just posted last week's Mega Swagbucks Friday announcement!
Well, just a reminder of course to USE Swagbucks when you're searching for something online. Then turn those Swagbucks into something you'll enjoy...like $5 Amazon giftcards, $10 Starbucks giftcards...or if you're really ambitious, a new iPod!
Haven't signed up for Swagbucks yet? It is easy, fun, and you're already doing everything you need to earn "bucks." Using a search engine online.
Sign up here and you'll earn 30 Swagbucks for joining, or if you're a bit skeptical and would like more information, you can read more about it read more about it in my previous post.
- I was talking to mom about it a couple of days ago and she (who has earned about 650 Swagbucks since joining in February) still was unclear about it all and was hoping it was worth it....until I showed her how to redeem those points directly for cash into her Paypal account!
- One thing to remember, you can only redeem 3 prizes a month, so if you're planning on "storing" up your points, keep that in mind. For instance, if you're going for the Amazon giftcards, every time you reach 450 Swagbucks, my suggestion would be to redeem your giftcard, likewise, for any other item. Don't wait because a $50 Amazon giftcard will actually cost MORE than if you redeemed them $5 at a time. Still have questions? Let me know!

Last week's deals on the AirWick, Dial Soap and possibly some others are still going on as well.
Also, last week at Target, it seems like they decided to officially pull the "Johnson's Buddies Soaps" from being part of the baby products. You most likely won't be able to use those $1 off Johnson's coupons anymore so be prepared. However, there are some other items, like Johnson's Baby Cotton Swabs for about $1 you should be able to use those coupons on.
Morning Reminder
Don't forget that today you can enjoy another free cup of iced or hot coffee at Dunkin' Donuts!
And tomorrow, bring this coupon with you to Starbucks by 10:30am for a free pastry with a handcrafted drink purchase.

Cost is $6 per car, not per person, which is just the entrance fee to the park. You could make a whole day out of it!

Safeway Frozen Catalina
You may have noticed on recent Safeway posts that I mention a "catalina" offer on frozen food. If you buy $25 worth (before coupons) of participating frozen food, you will receive a $10 catalina for your next transaction. Which, with using no coupons, that's a 40% savings right there. However, combine that with a few coupons and you could easily save 50% or more.
Here's the trick. You want to get as close to (but not below) the $25 mark as possible. Use as many coupons as possible. Then "roll" your catalina into your next transaction of frozen food of $25. So the 2nd (and 3rd and 4th...) time you checkout, you will have your coupons AND an additional $10 off. You can do this as many times as you want through the end of this month.
I have done this 3 times so far. My total for groceries is $77. Total out of pocket cost is $39 PLUS I still have a $10 catalina. Net total so far is $29 for $77 worth of food. That is about a 66% savings!
I'm going to list below some options for you to put together a list. But of course, there's many more deals and scenarios out there. I don't have the prices on all products, but I'll do my best. You'll want to take a calculator of some sort to the store with you to make sure you hit right about the $25 mark. If you want to look at the entire list of participating products, click here. I will try to update the list below as well.
Remember, all coupons are worth at least $1 at Safeway.

Stacking Coupons
I was just asked such a great question, I thought I would share my response. Please don't hesitate to ask questions - it helps us all out to better understand the "system".
The question was: How do you know when you can "stack" coupons?
I came up with the top 3 scenarios of when you might run into this situation:
1) You can stack a manufacturer coupon (i.e. from newspaper inserts, most online printable coupons such as coupons.com) with a STORE specific coupon. Store coupons are usually found within the store's weekly ad or sometimes online at the store's website. (i.e. Target usually has their own coupons online, grocery stores typically have in-store coupons in their weekly ad). The best way to know is to just look at the coupon. It should specify if it's a manufacturer coupon or a specific store coupon.
2) You can stack eCoupons (shortcuts.com, cellfire.com, etc) with ANY other type of coupons--manufacturer and/or in-store coupons. The best thing about eCoupons is, if you load them EVERY time they're available, you're likely to have duplicates on your card when you go to use it and combined with a physical coupon...you can't beat those deals.
3) Catalinas (coupons that print after your transaction at grocery stores) - If your catalina is for "x" amount of dollars off your next purchase, you can combine that with ANY other coupon. There's no restrictions. However, sometimes you'll get actual product coupons that say manufacturer coupon on top. You would treat that like any other manufacturer coupon.
Does that make any sense? Any other questions!? Hopefully that doesn't confuse you any more, but makes things a bit clearer.

**Also, Walgreens is a bit trickier. They have Register Rewards which are NOT catalinas. You might want to read through my Walgreens Tips and Tricks to get a better understanding and then of course, follow up with any other questions!!
Groupon
You may or may not have heard about Groupon. You can sign up for Groupon in pretty much any city/state and you will receive one email every day for a featured local business with sometimes up to 90% offers!
Some offers I could truly care less about, but there have been several great offers as well! From spa treatments (i.e. manicures, massages, laser hair removal) to restaurants, to sporting activities (i.e. golf, white water rafting, rock climbing) to theaters, pottery painting and fun things to do with the kids! The list goes on and on...and on.
For example today's Groupon (in Phoenix) is for $10 for $2o worth a Z Pizza. I looked a little bit into this restaurant (4 locations in Phx and Scottsdale) and it actually looks really interesting! The pizzas (and calzones and salads) are made from organic ingredients and contain 1/2 the fat and calories as typical pizzas.
So if you're looking for a place to eat this weekend, you might want to grab this Groupon!
With Groupon, you typically have 1 day (this latest one is for 2 days) to claim your daily offer' Once you have claimed it, you can print and use it any time (make note if there's an expiration on the coupon).
You can sign up for Groupon here and start checking your emails each morning for the newest offer!
Enjoy!

Mega Swagbucks Friday!
If you are using Swagbucks, remember that today is Mega Swagbucks Friday! You have a greater chance of winning a greater number of Swagbucks, so get searching! If you have recently signed up for Swagbucks, I know it can be hard to remember to actually USE it. But it is well worth it! I have mine set as my homepage, you can also download the Swagbucks toolbar which will put a search box right there for always easy access (Plus you get more "bucks" just for downloading and using it).
If you haven't signed up yet, or are skeptical, you can read more about Swagbucks HERE and/or you can get started HERE with 30 bucks just for signing up. But basically, you just use the Swagbucks search engine anytime you're searching on the Internet, and for that, you are rewarded with "bucks."
You can then redeem those bucks for all kinds of prizes. My personal favorite? An Amazon giftcard. However, there are Starbucks giftcards, Apple giftcards, Southwest Airline giftcards (I have my eye on this one too) and even prizes such as ipods and cameras. And for what? For doing nothing that you aren't already doing! Searching the Internet!
If you have any questions, please ask. This is one of the most rewarding "freebies" I can think of!

Safeway Trip
I just wanted to share (okay...brag a little...but brag with the hope to inspire!) my most recent trip to Safeway. I split my transaction into two.
First Transaction:
1 Nature Valley Granola Bars
4 Betty Crcoker Fuit by the Foot and Fruit Rollups
- Used (1) $.40 off Nature Valley = $1 off
- Used (2) $.50 off Fruit Snacks = $2 off
- Had (4) $.50 off Fruit snacks eCoupons from shortcuts and cellfire
- Had (2) $.40 off Nature Valley eCoupons
Total = negative $.24!
PLUS - Received a $2.50 catalina for next transaction
**I made $2.54 on my first transaction
Transaction 2:
2 Piccolini Barilla Pasta
3 Lean Pockets
1 Nature Valley Granola Bars
2 Granola Nut Clusters
2 Quaker Oat Squares
- Used (1) $.55 off Barilla = $1 off
- Used in-store coupon for Lean pockets, $1.50 each
- Used a catalina for $.75 off 3 Lean pockets = doubled to $1 off
- Used (1) $.40 off Nature Valley Granola Bars = $1 off
- Used (2) $1 off Granola Nut Clusters
- Used (2) $1 off Quaker Oat Squares
- Used $2.50 catalina from first transaction
Total = $2.44
So final out of pocket total for both transactions was $2.20! (and that is WITH the extra pasta I didn't have a coupon for!) One box of Lean Pockets is typically more than that!
Of course it paid off that I loaded new eCoupons every time they were available (every two weeks) and I did have the extra $.75 off the Lean Pockets, but YOU can do this too! Or take a look at the list and compile your own sale.
Also, the catalina on the fruit snacks will actually roll into ANOTHER fruit snack transaction. So you could buy 4 boxes using coupons and eCoupons. Then use your $2.50 catalina for your next order. Which using just your paper coupons the following times, you would be making money EVERY time you do this!
If you have any questions just ask! It sounds a lot more complicated than it is. Just try it!

Grocery Deals Ending Today
This week's great deals at Safeway, especially the Pillsbury, end today so if you haven't yet, I would head over and see if things are still left in stock. I heard through the grapevine, that Arin, ventured out on her first "trip" since reading my blog last night. She actually MADE $.40 at Safeway! They actually handed her $.40!
Now, this is NOT typical, so don't expect to be handed money, it's actually against store policies....However, if you're under your total amount, just add a filler item (a pack of gum or candy...etc...) so that you will truly only pay pennies.
Don't forget to load coupons on to your shopper's card at Cellfire and Shortcuts to truly "make money" on certain items!
Also, Fry's had some awesome deals this week too and I heard from a cashier many of the deals are rolling over into this next week. If you haven't yet, I suggest taking a few moments to play the Kroger (Fry's) game HERE. You can play once a day (don't forget!) and you'll win products which will be added to your shopper's card. So today, along with my groceries, I picked up a jar of Planter's Peanuts and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups for FREE with this game!
If you're new to this blog or have some questions, please read my post About This Blog. Feel free to email me (use contact link on navigation bar) or leave a comment for more info! Saving money is truly so much fun!

Facebook Freebies/Coupons
Becoming "Fans" on Facebook with your favorite manufacturers is starting to be quite rewarding. However, for some reason I don't want to be "fans" with EVERYthing....So here is a list of the deals/coupons I know about. You can snag these rewards by becoming a "fan."
I won't be making a new post every time there's a deal (unless of course it's free bagels from Einstein's!) but if you want to check back at least once a week to see the latest I will update the Facebook "Page" often (look for the link on the right hand side of my blog).
Also, if there's a product you use on a regular basis, I suggest checking to see if there's a facebook offer for it - if there is, let us know about it! And of course, like most deals, they are only good for a limited time so hopefully you get there before it's too late!
