This week, Walgreens has a great offer to be able to understand and learn how to use and understand Register Rewards. I try to only go shopping at Walgreens when I have at least one Register Rewards to use, so this will work to get you your first one.
Grab an ad when you walk into Walgreens and get the $0.49 Musketeers coupon. One coupon will work for ALL four bars you're going to buy.
Pay $1.96 with the coupon.
When you buy 4 bars, you'll get a $1.50 Register Reward. So the final price is $0.46 for all 4!
After you pay, just don't forget to wait for your reward. It'll print a few seconds after the transaction is complete. And THEN, hang on to that reward and you can start recycling the rewards and pairing them with sales and coupons to get lots more stuff for free! (Rewards come in all different amounts, once you get the hang of how it works, there's all kinds of scenarios how you can score some great everyday items for free or next-to-free.)
Keep in mind, you will only get one Musketeers reward for transaction. So if you buy 8 candy bars, you're still only getting one reward. However, you can go back repeatedly and stock up if you like the candy bar. It's a good deal.
