Savings This Week

I took pictures every day this week of my shopping trips. My plan was, at the end of the week to post them all and let you know how much I spent and how much I saved. Pictures say a thousand words sometimes and I thought it might help visualize what YOU could save every week. However, I took the pictures from my cellphone figuring it would be easier than getting my camera out each day. And now, I'm unable transfer them to my computer!

Instead, you will be getting a list. A long....list....

2 Gallons Milk
2 Loaves of Bread
2 Dole Salad Packs
2 lbs Gala Apples
2 Green Peppers
2 Onions
1 Hilshire Lunchmeat
4 Kraft Shredded Cheese Packs
2 Chicken Broths
10 Hunts Tomato Sauce
2 Classico Pasta Sauce
2 Barilla Pasta Noodles
3 Rosarita Refried Beans
2 Wheat Thins

1 12-ct Pop Tarts

2 Right Guard Deodorant
2 Purex Laundry Soap

Transaction Totals:
*$12.46
*$11.35
*$6.84
*$8.25
*$3.80
*$3.59
*$.51
*$.90
*$.40
*$.74

Final Total on all 79 items = $48.84
Total Saved (aprox) = $127

My goal was to spend $45 this week, pretty close. However, I also ended with $10 in Register Rewards as well. Granted, I didn't buy any meat this week which typically sends the totals up a bit, but overall, I feel pretty happy about my shopping this week!

Coupons to Print

When I first began this blog, I said I wouldn't tell you to print a coupon unless I was currently pairing it with a sale...however...I have realized you probably missed out on some freebies because of that (i.e. the Dole Salads this week at Frys).

I decided I would at least point out the best coupons, ones I know I will almost definitely be using and you can choose do as you wish. The coupons below, when paired with sales and double coupons, will likely turn into free and very cheap deals. If there's anything you will need or use, don't hesitate to print because they will likely be gone when we need them.

I suggest printing in black and white, and on the "single" coupon prints, turn your page over and upside down to print the next one.

Remember, almost all coupons can be printed at least twice!

Reach Floss $1 off (hold onto for a freebie next week)

Swag Code - 6 Bucks

Again, I'm all about the EASY codes. They don't get much easier than this though. You might want to play the video on the latest post by the Swag Blog. It's only 27secs long. You have a little over an hour left for this one - expires 9pm (AZ time).

Another Swag Code - 10 Bucks!

So, I really wish I could just tell you what the Swag codes are....but I just can't! So if you want an incredibly easy one, become a fan of Swagbucks on facebook and look at their current status update. It expires in 45 mins though (8pm AZ time)!

If you want more codes, there are a few other things you can do that will take a few more minutes of your time. Read through the Swag Blog for all the clues if you're interested.

If you still want to sign up, Friday is "MegaBucks Friday" which means you have a better opportunity of winning bucks while searching all day long.

Still don't know what I'm talking about? Read here.

Wow! 2000!

Wow, I have now had 2,000 hits on this blog since it's official launch exactly 1 month ago. And in fact, it wasn't until a week or two after that date that I actually let the word out that I even had a blog.

Thank you so much (again) for reading! It's hard to believe this is actually working!

My site name and URL will be changing this weekend so look for that. (However, you can come directly to this web address and you'll be automatically redirected.)

I've been tweaking the html on the format and although it's a long journey ahead, hopefully I can continue to improve it and add the new features I'm looking forward to.

So for now, I'm committed to being at my computer and updating whatever deals I see that are truly worthy of being posted. Every deal I post is one I have gotten first hand. (Which is why it takes a little bit to get the grocery stores and other retailers up each week.) So if you have a question or can't find a particular deal, please let me know and I'll help you out!

More to come...much more to come.

New Swag Code - 20 SwagBucks

***it looks like a lot of people were confused or didn't get it....checkout the second paragraph of the Swag Blog for the code. Also, it seems like their site is slower today from all "traffic", if you can't get on, just try again later. Code expires at 1am (AZ time). **

Okay, so it took me a second to figure out this clue on how to get 20 free swagbucks. You can read the Swagbucks blog post HERE.

But, in lameness terms:
  • Check out the 5th drop down menu across the top navigation bar (on Swagbucks Homepage)
  • The code is the 7th option on that menu
  • Remove the space between the words (leave capital letters where they are) and enter it in your "Gimme" box for 20 swagbucks!
Stay tuned for more codes throughout the day! You'll have your first Amazon gift card in no time!

If you haven't signed up, you can do so HERE
Read more about it HERE

Walgreens Free 8 x 10 Reminder

Don't forget to get your FREE 8 x 10 print of your favorite picture today!
You can order online (and pick up in store) or bring your camera/memory card right into the store. Go HERE for online coupon code or coupon to print out and take with you to the store.

And checkout out the deals this week before you head over!

Swagbucks Today!

If you've signed up for swagbucks then you might want to look at their blog throughout the day to see the latest news or to find out the details as to why you have so many more "bucks" this morning. However, I will definitely keep you updated here on the latest and let you know how to score more "bucks" as the day goes on.

If you haven't signed up yet, I would do so quickly (here) so you don't miss out! It sounds like at 11am (our Arizona time) they will make the next announcement. It also sounds like there will be plenty of opportunities to win big throughout the day.

The best part about Swagbucks? You get free stuff just by searching the internet like you always do! Want to learn more? See my previous post here.

Swagbucks Reminder

Just a reminder, TOMORROW, Thursday, is the big day for Swagbucks! I'm sure it'll be a great day to earn tons of bucks. If you haven't signed up yet, you can sign up here. If you want to know a little bit more about it first, you can read my post HERE.

Also, on the SwagBlog it mentioned to sign up for the newsletter. They said the day after the celebration, Friday, they will be sending out some big news (codes and "bucks" I'm sure) that we don't want to miss. Of course I'll report back anything I hear, but if you are already registered and want the newsletter as well, there's a link on the Swagbucks homepage where you can sign up.

In the past month and a half I have done nothing out of the ordinary and I am up to 80 Swagbucks - Just remember to use it when you search for anything online and they'll add up in no time.

The Giveaway Box

I have a problem.

My problem is, if it's FREE, I gotta have it. Even if I do already have a lifetime supply of deodorant.....I will still buy more. Well, buying is not the correct term if it's truly free, but whichever way I "get" it, I don't always need it. Even with four boys in the house, we truly don't need 30 sticks of deodorant. Especially when I know there will always be more deals to get more for free.

So, we decided to implement a new project in our house - it's called the Giveaway Box. I know, catchy. (We'll have to work on that.)

We now have a box designated for all this extra free (or nearly free) stuff we get. Every two months I will take my little boys with me and we'll go donate the contents of the box. (The box will always be accessible so if we have toys, clothes or anything else we might come across that could be used again we can drop it in there too.) The boys have been "saving their change for Haiti" at school this past month, and hopefully this will also show them it doesn't have to stop there.

So now, maybe my "problem" does not have to be a problem at all. It's a blessing. I will continue on my quest to get things for free even if I don't need them. And free samples? Maybe those could go in the Giveaway Box as well.

If you're heading to the store anyway, my challenge to you is, to grab that item you might already have the coupon for even if you don't need it. If it's truly free anyway, why wouldn't we just grab that extra one?

Checkout Safeway (through today), Walgreens and Target for current freebie offers you can pick up while you're picking up yourselves some freebies as well. And I will of course continue to update on what I find!

My hope is that my blog can not only be a blessing to you and your family for saving some money and getting great deals, but that it can also be a blessing that can spread even a little bit wider.

Have a great day!

Don't Miss It!

I know I sometimes post a lot, so until I have a better organizing "system" on the right, here's some posts I hope you didn't miss:

TODAY ONLY:
Jack in the Box - free grilled sandwich (with purchase of large drink)

Tomorrow Freebie Food

Tomorrow you can load up on free food if you'll be out and about - Take a look!

For breakfast, head to IHOP for a free pancake shortstack in celebration on National Pancake Day. Now, I can imagine it might be a little busy, but it IS a Tuesday so perhaps it won't be too bad. (And of course, remember if you're a teacher, head to Dunkin Donuts for your free coffee! Just bring your employee badge)

For lunch, head to Jack in the Box to try one of their new grilled sandwiches with the purchase of a large drink. And if you're like me (not too many are), I am THRILLED that Jack in the Box now has Diet Dr. Pepper, so I may be heading there for this deal!

And at last, for dinner, use your Qdoba coupons or play the game to get a coupon of your own! Remember, one coupon per email address per day......between today and tomorrow you should be able to get a coupon for a free meal with the purchase of a drink. The coupons expire within a few days of playing.

HotPrints - Free Photobook

If you haven't yet made your FREE photobook from HotPrints this month, you have one more week to get it done! And apparently HotPrints redesigned their look and it is supposed to be an even better quality than before. I'll update as soon as I personally see the new look, but in the meantime, it's a great deal regardless!

HotPrints offers you a FREE photobook every single month. So make one this week, and then log in and make one next week for March. As of now, they are even offering free shipping, so take advantage! (The books do have advertisements from their sponsors, but they are easily removable and they are not on any of your picture pages.)

All it takes is a bit of your time and you can have either a great gift for someone or a great keepsake for yourself. I have found, as well as some of my friends, that these photobooks are great for "storage." It's hard to get all your digital pictures printed and even harder to keep them organized and stored. And the hardest, for me anyway, is just the thought of scrapbooking! Now, I can do it all online and have it shipped to my house. My kids love looking at the books too - As will you!

A Big Fat Thank You!

Seriously, thank you!

I know this blog is supposed to be about saving money, and we'll get there this week, but I'm continuing to be amazed at how much fun this really is. I've loved hearing the stories of what "you" have saved and the deals and scenarios you have come up with. I can't wait to hear a month from now, when the you truly start to see the benefits adding up and when it's becoming easier and quicker to utilize "the system".

I'm learning everyday too as I do this, and I truly am trying to only put the best of the best on this blog. I want everything to be "doable." Not a lot of extra fluff, but my goal is that EVERY single post would hopefully be beneficial. Even if it's just 15 seconds of your time to get a free sample!

Today I'll be getting to this week's Target deals so you'll want to come back this afternoon for that. However, I have to go there first to make sure all the deals actually work! My other goal for this blog is to be completely legitimate and realistic. I see all kinds of "deals" out there and often times I'm disappointed when they don't actually work out whether the prices are incorrect, the coupon links are long expired, the "rewards" are not accurate or the "deal" requires you to have 4 copies of a Sunday paper(!).

So my commitment to those of you who read my blog (and please give your friends my blog address if you know anyone who would like it!), is that I actually do everything I post. Every single thing. If for whatever reason, I haven't done it myself, I will be sure to note it. Otherwise, I put my personal (whatever weight that has!) guarantee on it.

**note: I have noticed that every now and then I post a deal scenario and I happen to look back it days later and the coupons are gone or it has expired, my hope is that you take advantage as soon as possible so this doesn't happen to you!**

(**the Menstrual Complete is the only one marked with the Register Reward. I haven't tried it with the regular. If you compare the ingredients, they are almost identical! And if you really want the regular, it's still a great deal - $.50! Just no register reward. Also, this particular version is NOT marked down to $2.50 on shelf, but it will ring up correctly!)

Trident Layers Gum - $.99
Use $.75 off from 2/7 SmartSource
Total = $.24

My total for today on the gum, the hair bands, the tomato sauce, the Fusion razor, and the Excedrin (we stocked up last time on the theraflu) came to $1.69 out of pocket (after tax). This is actually more then I typically spend!

Keep in mind, I did use $8 in Register Rewards I already had. However, another $8 in Register Rewards printed at the end of my transaction. And if I go back to do any more transactions, I won't be buying any more razors so that's $1 less to my total.

Have FUN! Let me know if you have any questions!

Swag Code

If you have signed up for Swagbucks (if not, go here for details),you may be interested that I just found a code that's good today for an extra buck. Now, there's rules against "posting" codes, so I can't tell you what it is specifically. However, I am allowed to point you in the right direction! (If you need help redeeming codes, let me know!)

I happened to be browsing the Swag Blog to see if anything has been posted about their upcoming "birthday." You might want to read it too!

Walgreens update for this week is coming soon - Stay tuned!

FREE Movie - Valentine's Day

Okay, I know this is silly, but I'm not sure how else to give them away, so I figure this would be a good outlet!

And I know, I know, Valentine's Day is over, but the movie just came out! So if you're in love and want to take your sweetie, you're in love but your sweetie won't go so you want to take your friend, or you hate love but love watching movies about it, I've got a way for you to go...for FREE!

I have a pair of tickets to give away, in any city or state, to see specifically, Valentine's Day. (Up to $7.50 for each ticket) However, you would have to redeem the offer by February 28th (a week from tomorrow). So if you have the time, maybe next weekend, or just want the tickets to give to somebody else there's only one way to win:
  • Be a subscriber to my blog - either through Google Reader or another feed. (use the subscribe link at top right of this page. You'll need to email me to let me know you did, or that you already do! You can find my email at the top "Contact Me" link.)
I'll randomly pick the winner on Monday at 4pm!

FREE Samples and Other FREEBIES

I don't have a whole lot to post today (getting all geared up for next week's sales!), but here are a few free samples and other freebies you may like! (Hopefully you've set up an alternate email address by now!)

And if you haven't signed up for Swagbucks, I'm going to bug you about it! Next week is their 2year "birthday" so you want to be signed up before then!

Enjoy!

My Blog - An Update!

I officially launched this blog on January 25th, and as of today, my blog has been viewed 1202 times! I would like to say I have 1200 friends who all viewed it once, but...I don't. Which is actually pretty exciting to think I have something worth saying that it was read over a thousand times in just 3 weeks. Thank you for reading and coming back to read some more!!

Who knows where it's going, but it's been so much fun so far. I imagine the weekends will be a little "lighter" on the posts with Monday through Wednesday being the heaviest. But I will be diligent to let you know of the best deals I see out there.

For the most part, I want to make the deals the most convenient for you. So although there might be a pack of gum you can get for free (i.e. Orbitz Gum is FREE at KMart through tomorrow with THIS coupon or a FREE children's Hallmark Card from a Hallmark Gold Crown store), I think it's a bit of a stretch to think there will be many people who make a special trip for one item. Unless of course it's a flat screen TV for free....I'm sure we'd all make the special trip then!

Perhaps at the end of the week I'll make one blog post with all those "extras" for those who want to take advantage. However, my hope is you really can take what I give you each day, at least the majority of it, and truly make it work for you.

This is also an experiment - my blog. It all started to give my friends ideas on how I get things for free. There's so many other deals out there, like rebates for example, that I just don't want to get into....at least not yet. I hope it is not overwhelming to get the few things I share each day. Once we are in the rhythm of how the "system" works and are comfortable with it, maybe I will expand.

But if you have ideas/thoughts/suggestions...I'm all ears! Like I've said before...this is a work in progress. And with that said, I have new "pages" that will be up soon on the right hand side, and I will be experimenting with the layout from time to time and trying new things. If it doesn't work, I'll figure it out. Just don't give up on me!

I am also going to bite the bullet here soon and actually buy my own URL for $10. I figure it's worth it if I'm really going to go for this whole thing. So expect a name change soon...(one of the many good things about blogger is they will redirect you to the new URL if you come here first!) In the meantime, thank you and THANK YOU again for reading! I hope you're also enjoying utilizing it! And...feel free to tell your friends! :)

Qdoba - FREE Food!

If you like Qdoba (or have never tried it), then this one is for you!

I'm in the process of making a "Restaurant" page, or an "Eating Out" page, but for now it's still in the works. This one is too good though. I can't hold it back any longer. And with the weekend here, you might want to take advantage.

Remember playing MASH as a kid (0r as an adult, either way)? Well go here to play it again. At the end of the game, you will win a coupon almost every time. The coupons will say "Free Craft 2 Order" (which is a two item order, you choose) with the purchase of a drink, or "Free Drink" with the purchase of a meal or possibly 50% off one meal purchase.

Now, I could care less about the free drink coupon, but I would definitely go there to buy a soda and get a free meal! What's even better is that you can play this game once a day per EMAIL address. So maybe you could even get free food for two and a free movie from Redbox and make a cheap date night this weekend.

*The game was really fun the first time I did it, but if you don't want to actually play the game, just keep hitting continue, they'll fill in the blanks for you.*

--Thanks to Dawn (my sista!) for introducing me to this one!!!

Swagbucks

Alright. Here's the scoop. I'm sure if nothing else you've at least heard the word Swagbucks. Maybe you've even looked into it. But I'm here to tell you it's TOTALLY worth it, and fun!

There's some misconceptions about Swagbucks, the one most often heard is "you have to purchase items online to earn." -- False.

You CAN purchase items online to increase your amount of Swagbucks. But you definitely don't have to. So of course, if you're an online shopper, I would look there first to see if you could grab some extra bucks. For me though, this is about "saving" money and getting things for free....not spending more.

What Swagbucks CAN do for you, is earn some freebies by doing what you already do. Which is, searching for stuff on the internet.

If you're like me, I use "Google" multiple times every single day. Now though, I use the Swagbucks search engine (which is powered by Google) and I earn at least a $5 Amazon gift card each month.

There are quite a few things you can "purchase" using your Swagbucks - various gift cards including Starbucks, PayPal and Target online, and even things like iPods, cameras and video games....TONS!...but my personal choice is always the $5 Amazon gift card. You load the money directly to your account and you can get just about anything through Amazon--with no taxes (and often times they have free shipping promos).

Look at this way, if you earn an extra $5 a month toward Amazon (which is 450 Swagbucks), by the end of the year, you will have $60 in your account and you can get something(s) pretty nice! And honestly, if you're consistent about using this as your primary search engine, you'll earn them much faster. Truly free stuff, by doing what you already do.

They even have a toolbar you can download so the search box is easily right in front of you every time you need it. I just have it set as my homepage so every time I open a new window, it's up and ready to go.

To make things simple, just do this:
  • sign up for Swagbucks
  • download the toolbar or make it your homepage (or at least bookmark it for easy access)
  • use Swagbucks as your search engine any time you need it
That's it.

Forget about your total swagbucks it shows you. Forget about making enough to get an Amazon gift card. Forget about it completely. But use it - don't forget that! And within a month, you'll have enough "bucks" to score you something for free. And then you'll understand what I'm talking about and will be just as thrilled as I am.

When signing up today, you will get 30 bucks just for joining.

The hardest thing about Swagbucks? Just REMEMBER TO USE IT! Retrain yourself to go to Swagbucks (or use the toolbar you can download) instead of your regular search engine and you are good to go.

Enjoy!

The Mall This Weekend - Updated Again!

If you're heading to the mall this weekend, in particular Saturday the 20th, there's a couple of coupons you'll want to take with you. I don't know that I would make a "special" drive for these, but they are a great deal if you're going to be there already!

First, for a snack, head to Auntie Anne's for a FREE pretzel from 10am - 3pm ~ Original or Cinnamon Sugar.

You might be thirsty after that pretzel you eat, so sign up for the Orange Julius OJ Quench Club and get a FREE 20oz julius fruit drink or fruit smoothie. You can check their store finder here - they are owned by Dairy Queen and I have seen them in at least a few food courts!

Then, head to the Sephora counter at JCPenny for a FREE 10-Day supply of Bare Essentials Minerals Foundation (while supplies last, but it looks like if they do run out, you'll get another freebie!). And if you were lucky enough to get the JC Penny Mailer - it had a coupon in it for $10 of a $10 purchase. Not everyone gets these, but if you did, take advantage!

If you're wanting to smell good for your honey, you can head over to Bath and Body Works get one signature care item (up to $12) free when you make a purchase over $10. So kind of like buy one get one free. And/or you can also get a free travel item (up to $5) with ANY purchase in the store.

RedBox Movies - FREE

Redbox is a great way to rent and watch movies if you haven't tried it out yet. There's one on every other corner and typically it's only a $1 for each rental, each day. Good deal, right? Well, for me it's not good enough!
Redbox releases codes all the time for FREE rentals (Free as long as you remember to return them the next day!). Today only, they have a code for a freebie: SMRTRY

Also, some other codes which can be used once per account:

DVDONME
BREAKROOM
DVDATWAG (Good only at Redbox Walgreens locations)

Also, if you register with RedBox, you will get a unique coupon code for a free rental emailed to you as well. And once you create your account, you can subscribe to receive text message to get a unique code for a free movie the first Monday of every month!

** Note: there has been reports that Redbox is changing their "universal" code policy to making unique codes for individuals, but I don't see how that can be true since they just released this new one. The other three universal codes I posted I have already used so I can't test them out. If for some reason they don't work for you, please let me know! **

Want more free movies once you've used these codes?

You can sign up for a 4 weeks of Blockbuster movies in your mailbox (where you get 3 movies at one time) for free HERE.

Just make sure you cancel by the end of the free trial period otherwise you will be charged. Canceling only takes 30 seconds and can be done online.

There's also a free trial of Netflix HERE, however, this is ONLY for 14 days. I see one month promotions from Netflix from time to time, so if I see it again, I will be sure to let you know.

FREE Berres Brothers Coffee

More coffee! Sign up for a Berres Brothers Coffee sample HERE. You will need to use promo code 21 RR when prompted.

FREE Pizza! - Updated

**Wow, sometimes you have to be really quick! I just posted this a few hours ago and it's already gone! You can check it yourself though, maybe they'll bring it back.

If you want a great little snack/lunch one day, go HERE for a coupon for a FREE personal DiGorno Pizza! (up to $3.30 value). When you submit the form, you may get the message "this code has already been used" - but try again. It looks like there's just a slight error, but my coupon is on its way!

What To Look For This Week

Although the coupon insert wasn't fantastic this past Sunday, I have a few pretty good grocery deals I'm going to put together you won't want to miss. I hope you're starting to get the Sunday paper (buy one at $2 then use the in-paper coupon to get weekend only delivery for $4 a month). I've noticed I've been referencing coupons received four, five, six weeks ago and it's a bummer to have to miss out on deals. But the beauty is, every deal tends to come back around every six weeks or so as well as new coupons while the old ones expire. It's a cycle that just never stops if you see it through.

The easiest way to save newspaper coupons? Just save the whole booklet that comes in the paper. I wouldn't worry about cutting them. I do my best to reference which insert has which particular coupon (there's tiny dates printed on the sides) so there's no need to worry about cutting them all out beforehand. Unless of course you have a system that works for you. I've tried other ways, and this just makes the most sense. And it stays a lot neater too.

Since there won't be an overload of deals this week (unlike last week's Walgreens getting better and better deals everyday it seemed), I have another fun way to get free stuff online. Free stuff you'll actually use. I'll spill the beans on the misconceptions and the way it works tomorrow.

It's been so much fun these past few weeks hearing people actually getting good deals out there! I'm truly happy to know some of you are taking advantage! I know it takes time - not only in time your effort but to also time to see the rewards - but I figure if I write the blog, give you the links and the "need to know" info, it shouldn't take you all that much time at all. Hopefully it's starting to be fun for you and I promise, it just gets better and better.

FREE Glad ForceFlex - Sam's Club Members Only

If you are a member of Sam's Club, you can take advantage of free Glad ForceFlex Trash Bags. You need your member ID number to be eligible. Sorry, I know we can't all get this one.

FREE Fekkai Hair Care Sample

Get a free sample of Fekkai hair care products. You get to choose between Glossing Shampoo/Conditioner, Color Care and 3-minute Mask or a Glossing Cream. Fun!

FREE Benefiber Orange Sticks

Get a free sample of Benefiber Orange Sticks HERE.

SnapFish - Again! FREE Photo Coasters - No Shipping!

Once again, I have ANOTHER post for SnapFish. I told you there's always photo offers!
If you sign up for a new account through THIS link only, you will get a set of 6 photo coasters credited to your account (along with some other freebies and free prints). Just look under your special offers to redeem. If you look at the coasters on the site, they are typically $24.99 + shipping.

This offer you CAN use the free shipping which makes them $0.00! If you need a gift for someone, or for yourself, you can't beat totally free! This offer expires TODAY!!! It should take 10 minutes or less to complete. Have fun!

SnapFish - FREE Prints, Credit and/or Photo Gift

The Photo Dog Leash offer has expired, but you can still sign up through this link to get 30 prints and a $10 credit at SnapFish. This would be great to use toward a photo book!

- OR -

You can sign up through this link to get 50 prints and a free photo gift. Just click on the "get started" button on the right hand side. The gift will be credited to your account after you register (just look in your account under your special offers) and could be anything from a photo collage to coasters to a mousepad. And you SHOULD still be able to use PRESDAY at checkout for free shipping through the end of this week. However, I believe you can only get the free shipping on photo "gifts" not prints. And even that doesn't seem to work every time. But it DOES work on certain products. Good luck!

FREE Kotex Sample

For some reason, I completely remember posting this, however, it's not here. So I'm either creating memories that never happened, or it did happen and something changed; it deleted, the smoke monster got, I don't know. I'm ready for Lost tonight.

In the meantime, here is a sample of Kotex. I got mine in the mail the other day and it's perfectly packaged for something on-the-go. Plus you get a coupon with it.

Cheerios Coupon - Save

Here is one other coupon I want to point out that will likely come in handy if you like Cheerios. Sign up here and you will receive 4 $1 coupons for Cheerios. With coupons and sales, you can easily spend just a $1 or so on a full size box of Cheerios. I have made a point to never spend more than $1.50 on any type of cereal so I stock up when I can and we've never run out.

*You can also go here EVERY day throughout this whole year to try and win a box of Cheerios. They're giving away 50,000 boxes. In the official terms and conditions you can enter once per day/per email address.

Starbucks Coupon - Print and Save

There are always so many coupons out there you can print - check out right hand side under pages for "frequently used coupon sites" - however, I've learned over time that I tend to waste a LOT of paper. So now, I only print the coupons I'm 90% sure I'm going to use. Some coupons just aren't worth printing.

The risk of NOT printing coupons when they're available, is they might not be available any longer when you find the sale and then you'll be disappointed. So decide how you want to do it and what works for you. And if you can print in black and white, I highly recommend it.

With that said, I try to only put coupon links up when I'm showing you how you can pair it with a current sale. I will rarely tell you to print other coupons just because they're available. But here is one you want to get. It won't last too long since it's been up for a little bit already.

If you, or someone you know, like the Starbucks Frappuccino drinks, print this coupon and save to use for later. (It will ask you to "connect with facebook", just hit cancel and it will bring you to the coupon.) These go on sale for $.99 or $1.19 all the time. When that time comes, you'll score a great deal!

**Remember to hit the back button on your browser so you can print it twice!

FREE Full Size Pantene Sample

Go sign up with VocalPoint if you're not already a member. They release free samples and coupons all the time. They then request an *optional* feedback survey after you've used the product. Completely up to you though if you want to respond.

After you've registered go HERE to confirm your address and get your full size free sample of Pantene Shampoo. Also browse the site a bit you'll find some more offers, such as a coupon for tuna packs which you can usually get for free if you pair with a sale.

2.15.2010

Hot Prints - FREE Photobooks and/or Calendars!

HotPrints is another photo site with some great deals. Now, I will tell you they are not quite as good (in my opinion) as Shutterfly, but, they are cute...and FREE.

Once a month, yes, every month, you are eligible for a FREE HotPrints photo book or calendar. Right now, they even offer free shipping on the book/calendar as well! There will be advertisements from their sponsors placed inside, however, they will not be on your personal photo pages and can be easily pulled out. (This is how they are able to offer them for free of course.)

Also, if you want even ANOTHER book (including the shipping), you can become a fan of theirs on facebook as well. (You do not have to do this to get the free book a month)

Shutterfly - FREE, FREE oh ya, and FREE!

Shutterfly has a few deals going on right now. I'll do my best to explain each one. You do have to pay for shipping on these ones, but if you need to get a lot of prints, it works out to a pretty good deal.

If you still haven't signed up, sign up here for your first FREE 50 Prints. (One account per email address). I believe shipping is $3.99 on 50 prints.

25 FREE PRINTS - EXPIRES TODAY! (Sorry, I should have posted sooner!)
--prints are free, it's $2.49 for shipping. Just under 10cents a print. Not fantastic, but definitely not bad
  • Once you are signed in, go to the MY ACCOUNT link at the top of the page
  • Scroll down to ENTER SPECIAL OFFER CODE under Special Offers
  • Enter in 25FREEPRINTS in box
  • Go to MY SPECIAL OFFERS to see offer added into your account

60 FREE PRINTS - Create a Share Site - Expires March 10th
--Shipping is $3.99 for 60 prints or $2.49 for 30 prints, that's just over $.06/print - $.08/print
  • Click on "Share" button in the middle of the top menu to get started
  • Create a Share Site to earn the first 30 Free prints (This can literally take one minute or less if you don't care about the page elements and just want your prints.)
  • Post a Video to a share site to earn the second set of 30 Prints -- Just go to your share site and look for "Click to Add Videos". You can then search YouTube or add one from any URL. (Again, this is all pretty quick if you don't really care and just want your prints)
You should receive your credits (look in your account under special offers) by the beginning of the next week and you have until March 26th to redeem them.

So all together, if you do all offers - the 50, the 25, and the 60 prints- you will pay $10.47 for shipping which works out to just over 7 cents per print.

When you have extra time on Shutterfly, I suggest creating a photobook and saving it to your account. These take a little bit more time because of course you want them to look nice. Shutterfly will release coupons for free books a few times a year and if you have one ready to go, it makes things much easier.

Enjoy!

**you might want to check your email and/or try this code as well: PRINTS
If your account is eligible, you will receive 75 FREE PRINTS. Not every account is eligible, only those that received the email.**

FREE 8 x 10 at Target Portrait Studio

Get your little one all ready and looking cute and head to Target for a FREE 8 x 10. Through March 1, with NO sitting fees. Print out your coupons and details HERE.

We all go to Target anyway, you might as well get an 8 x 10 for free! (Don't buy anything else when they show you all the prints. That defeats the purpose of FREE.)

Free Subscription to Rouge Magazine

I have no idea what this magazine is like, so it could be a flop. I'll let you know when I receive my first issue, but it is likely this offer won't still be valid at that time. I heard there are a lot of coupons in the magazine for P&G products (razors, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc). The last issue apparently had a free Zest bar package coupon.

So if you'd like a FREE magazine with COUPONS inside (those are the only words I need!) follow this link to get signed up.

Snapfish - FREE Photo Dog Leash and 20 FREE Prints

Alright, I've been promising a "photo" update so here it goes. I'm going to split them up into different posts to keep things a bit more organized and well as add a link under "pages" on the right side of this blog once I get them all up. That way you can reference all photo deals easily when you're ready.

So here is one specifically for you dog lovers. Oh, and those that still want free photo prints.

SnapFish is offering NEW accounts (one account per email address) a FREE photo dog leash (valued at $20) and 20 free 4x6 prints. The only catch is, I'm not sure when the free shipping ends. For sure, you have through tomorrow, the 15th. But if by chance you don't get it done, there's also reports I've seen that it actually ends on the 19th, the end of "President's Day" week. Either way, it really doesn't take long, so get going!

  • Sign up for a new SnapFish account here
  • When you are signed in, go to your account to redeem the credit towards the free leash
  • Design your leash and go to checkout - you'll notice the credit will be applied automatically
  • Enter your coupon code PRESDAY to get free shipping at checkout
If you really don't want to photo leash, you can go through THIS link only to get 30 free 4x6 prints plus a $10 credit. You can use the PRESDAY coupon here as well for free shipping.

Check back tomorrow for additional offers on other photo sites!

Walgreens, Go TODAY!

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing Walgreens is. Well, that's not true, I have "begun" to tell you...but until you start, you won't even understand....

Today is THE best day to get started!!
Print your 15% off coupon and get going on those Register Rewards (my favorites HERE). And of course, while you're there, pick up your Photo Collage. (Use code VDAY and/or see further instructions on my previous post HERE.)

So far (and I'm not anywhere even close to being done), I have 4 Theraflu's, 4 boxes of Kotex, 3 Dove Men's Body Washes, 12 3Musketeers Bars, 3 Altoids, 3 John Freida Hair Care products and my photo collage print. Total out of pocket? $3.77. That's less than what one box of Kotex usually costs! And I still have $6.50 worth of Register Rewards to roll. Needless to say, I will be going back.

Today is incredible with that extra 15% off. I haven't come across a product that HASN'T qualified. In fact, the candy bar scenario is even BETTER than $0.12 each now! And the Dove, instead of making $1.50 off each one, you're making about $2.10!

The photo collage came out cute. I made it as a Valentine's present, and seriously, it took me all of 5 minutes to upload and create it. Once I submitted my order (remember, make sure it says $0.00 at checkout, one time it didn't, but I refreshed and it worked), I got an email just 35 mins later saying it was ready for pick up!

One key thing to remember, because of the even better deal with the 15% off, make sure you have a couple of "filler" items handy. You want your total to be just a few cents over your register reward before tax. One time, I calculated the discount wrong and was 11 cents under, I had to do a quick find and wound up spending a little more than I normally would. Look in the clearance sections, you can always find a couple of things for $.25 to $.50.
